Fiorella Mannoia was born in Rome. The future Italian pop star began her career in show business at the age of 13 when she appeared in the film Non Cantare, Spara! Since the mid-1980s, she has built up the necessary credibility to become the female voice and counter-songwriter in a traditionally male-dominated field.
